Doug Spears

A seasoned touring professional playing shows annually throughout the country, Doug Spears is a rare fifth generation Florida native, a troubadour storyteller and performing songwriter. Doug achieved a measure of notoriety surrounding his 2010 CD "Welcome Home" which finished the year as a top 40 folk album internationally on the International Folk DJ Chart (the "Billboard" chart of independent folk music). The album featured a stellar cast of award winning musicians and garnered several awards including Runner-Up folk song of the year for "Yellow Butter Moon" by the International Acoustic Music Awards. Ellen Bukstel

From Menopause to Marijuana! …Peace to Politics! …Provocative! …Ellen Bukstel writes and sings about it all! This type happy-sad, life embracing, fear-overcoming emotional schizophrenia truly captures the spirit of modern independent music making—whatever the artist feels in that moment, she shares…and whatever else Ellen is, she’s not shy about it making her audience “sit up and think…laugh til they cry…and sometimes all at the same time!

Frankie J and the Chicken Parade

Award-winning Singer/songwriter Frank Julian, Rockin' Bassist Curtis Wayne
Schaper, Pasco Paul Belmore on dobro and Ron Townsend on percussion along
with special guest artists, lead the Parade in a fun, frolicking, audience
participating squawk-fest. A little Folk, a touch of Bluegrass, some
Acoustic Rock and Roll. It's been called Americana. You tell us.

Hard to Port

Hard To Port is a unique group of friends and musicians who have played together and separately in a variety of other groups for many years now - the group now pools their talents under the moniker of "Hard To Port", a Celtic Fusion Band. The term Celtic Fusion means the band plays everything from traditional Irish jigs, reels, and songs, to folk-tinged singer-songwriter arrangements sprinkled with a little rock'n'roll. And often, all of that blended together in one song! Sometimes we take a familiar folk or rock'n'roll song and infuse it with "celt", sometimes we take a traditional Celtic song and blend in some rock'n'roll mayhem! Add to that our extensive catalog of original material, and we never play the same set twice!

Jackson Creek

Jackson Creek presents a dynamic blend of folk, mild bluegrass, fiddle tunes and many of Joe Waller's original songs.  They perform throughout Central Florida for festivals, community and private events.   Please check our event schedule and contact information at www.folkfiddle.com.   We're looking forward to entertaining you

Jerry Mincey

I was preordained to be a musician. I played in my first rock band at 14, by my first year of college I was lead guitar player for "The Spades" one of the premier bands to come out of Central Florida. A Florida tour with The Zombies and The Searchers, secured us a recording contract and a subsequent trip to the RCA studios in Nashville.
In the early nineties I went back to college, got off the booze, and started writing songs. This opened the door for a whole 'nother part of my story. "Me and Mr. Cole" released in 2000 and "Narcoossee Lucie" in 2006 have helped me to become a successful performing songwriter.

She swam in volcanic calderas, water-skied gator- infested rivers, repaired U-2 spy planes while in the USAF, and worked in the dot-com tech wars of Silicon Valley. Known for intricate finger-style guitar and soulful vocals, she returns to Eustis this year as a two-time winner of the South Florida Folk Festival live-performing song contest. Lauren has toured the country from coast to coast and has released a pair of albums, with the most recent debuting high on global folk radio. Today, she lives in Central Florida.

Mike Worrall

"Mike Worrall writes songs. It’s something he has little control over... kind of like breathing. The songs spill out and he writes ‘em down...an amalgam of folk and country and blues influences in songs that range from poignant to ironic to darkly humorous.

From coffee houses to concert stages, from swanky hotels to honkytonks, for Mike Worrall it’s been a million miles, thousands of gigs, and hundreds of towns... picking, singing, laughing & living.

His latest CD, “Journey’s End”, is available on iTunes and CDBaby"

The band recently gained an international following thanks to a viral Facebook video of their song "What To Do" with over 800k views. The Ashley Gang

One of Florida's most popular folk bands, the Ashley Gang is now in its 20th year of performing together. Formed and fronted by singer-songwriters Al Scortino and Paul Garfinkel, the Gang's membership has evolved over the years, but their focus on Florida has not. Ashley Gang music features thoughtful lyrics that range from haunting to hilarious, and melodies that span the spectrum from pure folk to American and a touch of bluegrass. Harmonies and instrumental intricacies that have solidified over two decades leave audiences asking for more.
